The Torreiro distillery, founded by Mr. Gervasio Botana in the 50s, is located in the region of As Mariñas, western zone of Galicia (Betanzos). It is here, in 1923, where D. Gervasio is born and develops its work of distiller, using traditional methods, for all the region of Betanzos.

The systems and techniques used in the elaboration and control of the production processes are based on the traditional practices of distillation, by means of still or vapour dragging, system that utilizes our distillery, and permits to obtain maximum quality products, retaining the specific characteristics of the grape marc spirit.

The careful production of herbs, coffee, toasted, cream and honey liquors follows the same process that the grape marc spirit and it is finished with a process of soaking, in stainless steel tanks, with exquisitely selected products.
